What Can Be Recycled?
The following is a list of accepted items which are to be placed in the curbside recycle bins or dropped off at the CCSWMD office. Items not on this list are not recyclable.
Please look for the triangular recycle symbol on containers.

Plastic and Paper Grocery Bags

Newspapers

Aluminum Cans

Glass Bottles and Jars

Milk Jugs

Steel and Tin Cans

Soda Bottles

#1-7 Grade Food Containers & Plastic Bottles

Flattened Corrugated Cardboard

Flattened Paperboard Boxes

Junk Mail, Phone Books, and Magazines

Computer and School Paper
The Following Items Cannot Be Recycled:

Bottles that contain chemicals such as bleach or antifreeze are not recyclable.

Paper Towels

Tissues
-
Food Wrappings (Including Take-Out Containers)

Pizza Boxes
-
Styrofoam Products
-
Aluminum Foil, Pie Plates, Cake Tins

Flower Pots
-
Clothing
Most of the above items are soiled with oils, grease, cheese, or other foods, so they are considered contaminates and are prohibited from recycling.
